Laura DeAngelis (she/her) is a Chicago based dance and multimedia artist with an emphasis on research and narrative. After growing up dancing alongside the professional community in New Jersey, she attended Ohio State where she received a BFA in dance and BA in history. Laura's work seeks to eradicate the borders created by westernized arts and scholarship to make culture and knowledge accessible. She loves to bring communities together through art. Additionally, Laura is a yoga teacher and enjoys cooking and kissing her dog in her spare time.
